Sonesta Hotel Cartagena, Cartagena

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the breakfast was decent and the location near the beach was ideal, there were significant drawbacks. Service could be improved, as it often felt understaffed and unresponsive. Additionally, the noisy environment made it hard to relax at times, and the room amenities were not quite up to par for a 4-star classification.

My stay at this hotel was a rollercoaster of emotions. The staff truly embodies what hospitality should be-kind and attentive, making me feel at home. However, the property itself is in dire need of updates and renovations. While the views from the room were breathtaking, the overall infrastructure left much to be desired. It's great for families looking to enjoy some sunshine at a reasonable price, but don't expect the luxury that's typically advertised.
